Ephesians – Bible Study Book with Video Access: A Study of Faith and Practice by Jackie Hill Perry, Jasmine Holmes, and Melissa Kruger

Creative Team Member: Malea

“Who am I? The question of identity is always in the back of our minds, and it’s currently at the forefront of social conversations. But the first question we need to ask is: Who is God? Then we can begin to consider, And who am I in light of who He is? In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul describes God as a merciful and forgiving Father who unites us in Christ and empowers us to live by the Spirit. We’re adopted children and fellow citizens with the saints because of God’s loving pursuit on our behalf.

In this 7-session study, Bible teachers, authors, and friends Jackie Hill Perry, Jasmine Holmes, and Melissa Kruger walk through the book of Ephesians, examining the invaluable truths Paul’s letter holds for us today. Along the way, they’ll help us understand the riches of our inheritance as daughters of our heavenly Father, as well as what it means to walk in a manner worthy of our calling.” Follow #LovedBibleEphesians to see these posts!

Home with God: Our Union with Christ by Kyle Worley

Creative Team Member: Christie

“What if we’ve missed the most wonderful truth about salvation?

That you and I were created to live at home with God. Not just in some far future heavenly world. But right now.

You and I are invited to live at home with God in Christ Jesus. This invitation is called “union with Christ.” And it is one of the most unbelievable and overlooked realities of Christian salvation.

In this book, Kyle Worley (pastor, author, and host of the “Knowing Faith Podcast”) guides readers along the story of Scripture to help them understand that this invitation into life with God in Christ is not only a key part of the Bible’s entire message, but also, the primary belief of Christian salvation. In Home with God, you will discover how the Christian’s union with Christ creates a new me, a new we, and a new way of living in and living out God’s story. Wisdom is found in knowing God and knowing ourselves.” Follow #LovedBibleHomewithGod to see these posts!

“Enjoy the enduring insight and wisdom of Charles Spurgeon with these beautifully written biblical reflections.

These short and profound reflections on the life and teaching of Jesus have been carefully compiled and edited by Jeff Medders from a collection of Spurgeon’s sermons. Some of the language has been modernised to make them accessible to a wide range of readers.

Each day features a theme verse, rich content from the teaching of Spurgeon, a prayer and reflection questions, helping readers meditate on the cross in the run-up to Easter.

Whether you’re new to Spurgeon or have enjoyed his writing for many years, you will find encouragement, inspiration and delight in the pages of this devotional.” Follow #LovedBibleRisenKing to see these posts!

Our Highest Good: 90 Days of Knowing and Loving God (A Theology Every Day Devotional) by Mary Wiley

Creative Team Member: Heather

“Do you want to know and love God more deeply? Read theology every day.

When peace seems far from us and when true rest doesn’t come, we don’t need more to-dos on our list or a set of step-by-step instructions to help us get there on our own. True peace, hope, and rest only comes by spending time in the presence of God.

Spend 90 days in His Word focused on who God is and what He is like and find that He is worthy to be trusted at every twist or turn of life. He is better than our minds can imagine, in control of all things, and infinitely good. As you do, you will:

  • find peace in His sovereign care
  • enjoy security in His promise of eternity
  • experience joy in His great love for you
  • rest in the God who never sleeps
  • trust God for your every need
  • find comfort in His Spirit
  • learn to live out your faith as an overflow of His glorious grace

God is the sustainer of the rhythms of the skies and seasons, as well as the intricate rhythms of our lives. To dwell in His presence is the promise of salvation, the abundant life in Christ today, and the eternal life with Him in the future. While the ways of the world lead to death, His invitation is to come and live. He truly is our highest good.” Follow #LovedBibleHighestGood to see these posts!
