The Loved Bible Project team strives to Love God, Love Bibles, Love People, and Make Disciples

Hello! Thanks for your interest in being a part of TLBP’s Creative Team!

As the project grows and new people join our team, we want to make sure everyone is on the same page and acting consistently with what The Loved Bible Project (TLBP) is all about.

The mission of The Loved Bible Project is to help ordinary people make disciples through the use of the Bible. The Loved Bible Project is designed to be a tool. By using this tool, you can expect to grow in familiarity in navigating the Scriptures, gain confidence in sharing the gospel, receive guidance in making disciples of Jesus, and find community with others doing the same – ultimately these things work together to support ongoing transformation and joy in knowing God.

We aim to be an ever-growing, biblically-literate global community of men and women who love God’s Word and share it with others. By delighting in Scripture, we seek to honor God, make much of Jesus, and trust the Holy Spirit’s power to help others find insightful joy in the pages of God’s Word.

We want our team to embody this mission and vision, live out our core values and beliefs, and enjoy working in a fun, collaborative team environment.

Creative Team Application:

This is a volunteer position, focusing primarily on creating a Loved Bible using our TLBP Foundations Workbook and other resources recommended on our website. We regularly review new content for public endorsement, and the Creative Team members are part of this process.

Expectations of Creative Team – A Brief Overview:

  • Active engagement in a private Facebook group: participating in team-building questions, get-to-know-you activities, sharing weekly prayer requests
  • Encouragement and support, praying for the project and individual team members
  • Submit 4-5 posts a month, according to deadlines and guidance specified in the Team Handbook
  • Engage in the larger TBLP community: share and ‘like’ social media posts, assist with questions on closed community pages and also public posts, encourage others in pop-up groups and challenges

Step 1Take time to understand and affirm our mission, vision, beliefs, and core values and review the Team Handbook.

Step 2:  Be part of the disciple-making process using a Loved Bible.  This will take some time, don’t rush the process!  Complete the Loved Bible process (see Getting Started Guide) by loving a Bible using the Foundations Workbook, giving it away, and continuing through Step 5 which is ‘Invest and Invite.’

Step 3:  Submit your Loved Bible story and photos here.

Step 4:  Confirm you’ve completed Steps 1-3 by completing this form.

Once you complete Step 4, we’ll send you The Loved Bible Project Team Questionnaire.  This process prepares you for work in ministry and gives us a glimpse of what it looks like for you to love God, love the Bible, love people, and make disciples in your everyday life.

Step 5:  Return TLBP Team Questionnaire

Step 6:  Our leadership team will review and follow up within 2 weeks.

We look forward to hearing from you!
